Guest Redirect Options

Redirect fields are a permission controlled by a client settings toggle. If you want to allow client users to update their own redirect url you will need to enable the permission for the individual client.

A hotspot comes with several options to allow guests to be redirected to websites after they go through the connection process. You can use these redirect options for various things.

Redirect URL: This is the default URL that will be used to redirect guests if 1) there are no other URL’s in the other available options 2) if no gender or birthday data is available for the guest.

Gender Redirect URL (Male): If the platform knows that this guest is male, then the guest will be redirected to the URL That is populated in this field.

Gender Redirect URL (Female): If the platform knows that this guest is female, then the guest will be redirected to the URL That is populated in this field.

Birthday Redirect URL: If the platform knows that the guest’s birthday is today, then the guest will be redirected to the URL That is populated in this field.
