Ruckus Cloud Configuration Guide

Before configuring your Ruckus Cloud device, please be sure that you have added the Gateway to the Smart WiFi Platform and associated it with a Hotspot.

The following instructions outline how to setup a Ruckus Cloud network for the Marketing4WiFi Platform.  This guide covers details such as configuring RADIUS, walled garden entries, and captive portals.  This guide assumes that your Ruckus Cloud network is already operational and on a live network with adopted Access Points. Please make sure any firewall rules, web content filters, and other security measures have been configured to interface with the platform.

Log in to the Ruckus Cloud dashboard at https://cloud.ruckuswireless.com

Click Networks and then Add Network. Configure using the settings below as a guide.

      1. Network Details
        1. Network Name: (The name for your network) By default this will be used as your SSID name.
        2. Type: Captive Portal
        3. Click Next
      2. Portal Type
        1. Select 3rd Party Captive Portal (WISPr)
        2. Click Next
      3. Settings
        1. Portal Provider: Marketing4WiFi
        2. Captive Portal URL: https://splash.4wifi.net/hotspotlogin.php

          If you’re a white label client and you have your own splash domain, enter it such as https://splash.YOUR_DOMAIN.com/hotspotlogin.php

          If you’re still using splash.smartwifiplatform.com please contact Support to discuss options for changing your splash hostname.

        3. Redirect users to: https://splash.4wifi.net/hotspotlogin.php?res=success

          If you’re a white label client and you have your own splash domain, enter it such as https://splash.YOUR_DOMAIN.com/hotspotlogin.php?res=success

          If you’re still using splash.smartwifiplatform.com please contact Support to discuss options for changing your splash hostname.

        4. Integration Key: Copy this and save it for later.
        5. Walled Garden: Please use all the wildcard walled garden entries in the Default Walled Garden List.
      4. Venues
        1. Enable the configuration on the intended Venue by turning the Activated switch to ON.
        2. Click Next
      5. Summary
        1. Click Create
