The following instructions outline how to setup a Ruckus Cloud network for the Marketing4WiFi Platform. This guide assumes that your Ruckus Cloud network is already operational and on a live network with adopted Access Points. Please make sure any firewall rules, web content filters, and other security measures have been configured to interface with the platform.
- Log in to the Ruckus Cloud dashboard
- Using the navigation panel to the left, select Wireless Networks
- Click the Add Network button to the right and configure using the details below
- Network Name: (The name for your network) By default this will be used as your SSID name.
- Type: Captive Portal
- Click Next
- Select 3rd Party Captive Portal (WISPr)
- Click Next
- Portal Provider: Other provider
- Captive Portal URL: Select one
- Check the box for Redirect Users to: Select one
- Integration Key: Copy this and save to use when Adding Gateways in the dashboard.
- Enable MAC auth bypass: Disabled
- Walled Garden: Enter the required whitelist entries based on the sign on products intended for use with this hotspot.

- Press the Add Secondary Server button
- Primary Server IP Address: Select one
- Secondary Server IP Address: Select one
- Port: 1812
- Shared Secret: Available in the Edit Hotspot page in the Marketing4WiFi dashboard, called RADIUS Secret in the dashboard.
- Accounting Service-
- Turn the service ON
- Press the Add Secondary Server button
- Primary Server IP Address: Select one
- Secondary Server IP Address: Select one
- Port: 1813
- Shared Secret: Available in the Edit Hotspot page in the Marketing4WiFi dashboard, called RADIUS Secret in the dashboard.
- Press Next
- Active the Wireless Network at the desired Venue
- Press Next
- Review the Summary looks correct and press Create
- Back on the Wireless Networks page, click the Name of the network just created
- Press the Edit Network option in the top right corner
- Select the Advanced Tab
- Allow the user to stay connected for: 10 Days
- Do not redirect to the portal when reconnecting within: 14300
- Press Save
- The configuration is complete
