THE SOLUTIONS FOUND IN THIS ARTICLE ARE NOT SUPPORTED.
Known best practices is to use equipment that is compatible with the SmartWifiPlatform by GoZone WiFi.
Some access points do not support the external splash page (captive portal) controls that the SmartWiFiPlatform requires. There are ways to flash the equipment with open source packages like openWRT or DDWRT.
To determine if your device is compatible with either please check the Table of Hardware for OpenWRT or the Router Database for DD-WRT.
Another solution to get non-supported access point to work with the SmartWifiPlatform would be to bridge the access points to a supported gateway controller such as a Mikrotik routerboard, a Cisco Meraki, or another supported gateway that has an available Ethernet port to bridge guest traffic across to the access points.
Here is a simple drawing of what this type of a solution would look like: https://support.marketing4wifi.com/knowledgebase/network-drawing-with-bridged-access-points/
