How do I know an email address is valid?

When a guest selects the “Email” Connection option, the email address they enter will be validated to help with inaccuracies.

Domain validation: If the guest enters an email address with an invalid domain name like guest@gjgjkgjkgk.com, then a message will be displayed to enter a valid e-mail address.

If a guest mistypes a logical email address domain such as guest@gmil.com, then a message will be displayed asking the guest of they meant guest@gmail.com.

Syntax Validation: If a guest types hello world@gmail.com, the space would indicate that there’s a problem so it would not be validated.

Deliverability Validation: If a guest types asdfgh@gmail.com, because the email is not real and therefor cannot be delivered to the email address would not be validated.

  • To enable this feature you’ll need to obtain an Mailgun Private API key from the Mailgun dashboard.
  • Enter the Mailgun Private API Key in the operator customization page branding tab.
